Elliot said one of my favorite quotes in Season 3 of Scrubs. She's talking to her ex, Sean, attempting to get back together with him. They had broken up before because she needed to concentrate on her internship. At first she tells him that she's new Elliot and she's always going to put him first.. but she comes to realize that that just can't happen.
"I came here to tell you that you're going to always come first in my life.. but the fact is I can't promise you that without it being a lie. But what I can promise you is if it's my choice.. Always when it's my choice, you will come first."
